France should win this, but I've got a sickening feeling in my stomach that Portugal will make it through to the final.

France should easily, easily win, unless the lovable portugese can do something spectacular, rather than relying on below board tactics - however we've seen against brasil that france can cope with tactics like that.

Woah, woah... hold up - they've only had one awesome performance... the rest were distinctly average. I mean, yeah, the match they put up against Brazil was great - and I mean great - I can't remember seeing a better performance from a team in my life, mainly cos I didn't watch the '82 world cup - but lets not forget how, well, @#$%& they've been since 98 (or 2000 if you count the Euros).

I am going for Portugal on this one, I think Felipão can make his side win. And France isn't all that is said to be but they can indeed win if they have a goal handed in to them by some defender who's too busy fixing his important socks while making millions regardless of some title he has won before.

I'm against sigpics

It was a P.K. on Henry, but he chose to dive instead of continuing (his foot was taken away but he regained balance but it was a better chance to score with the penalty) so no complaints there. But when Ronaldo fell, I thought he dove but one of the commentators for Globo is a former ref who has been in some WCs and is a very good one, and he said as the player started his movement with the head to go for the ball he was pushed by the defender's left hand.

Ronaldo is old news.

Talk about being disgraceful in defeat, disgraceful by Scolari there.

France deserved that. Portugal were an utter disgrace as per usual, the authorities really have to do something about this diving etc.

Because the French team is based here. I saw them a couple of times driving by in the bus.

France deserved to win, Ronaldo IS a diving cheat and a bad actor, however France behaviour at the beginning wasn't okay at all. They have to be on the field in time and as it looks the referee had not have to wait for them. He could have had the match started on time, even with no French players on thefield.

REHAB IS FOR QUITTERS

It's really annoying so many dives and in the end it only hurts because if something does actually happen the referee will be inclined not to give the foul. Anyways, Thuram and Gallas have been very strong on defense and that has been a key for France. They play well organized and a goal always seems to happen.
