Good effort by Tunisia and Spain were poor first half, but Fabregas was different class when he was brought on, won the game for them.

Very good effort by Tunisia I thought, but there was only ever going to be one outcome. Perhaps Tunisia could have held on for a draw playing at their peak (the second goal was soft), but they're all human, and playing perfectly for 30 minutes more wasa tall order against Spain.

They could still go through through, I'm not convinced yet by Ukraine.

Tunisia put up a good fight, maybe if they hadn't given up on the second half they could have even won. But Spain is just better, as soon as Tunisia relaxed and stopped playing they were threatening, and I am actually happy I guessed the score right :D. But I said Fernando would miss the penalty and it didn't quite happen... almost though! But very nice game with Raúl and Fabregas, Raúl should not be on the bench, Villa doesn't have the flair and Aragonés won't put 3 forwards starting a match, so I wouldn't say put Fernando on the bench because despite being a bit lacking with one-on-one dribbling and have no left foot, he's much more dangerous because he always moves around very well and has a little bit of pace.

Go Spain :D

its fair enought where raul is, he got injured this year and didnt play well when he did come back, have you seen his season with madrid? horrible

villa deserves to be there, he finished 2nd scoring leader of spanish league (Eto'o finished first) and he played well first game agains ukraine (whole team played well that game)

torres is my favourite player, the fact why i like him is that he is young, fast and a good scorer (even if he could have scored another couple of goals versus tunesia...)

anyway, i agree on what you guys said, spain played a bad first half and if tunesia wouldnt have ''relax'' they could have get a draw

Of course I've seen how Raúl did, but this is not Real Madrid, this is Spain and everyone is playing all they can for a cause, unlike at Real where there are too many people looking after themselves only. Raúl is better with his national team and if he gets to perform a function like he did on the game with Tunisia more often he will definitely increase the level of the team. Raúl, I think, is a genious. He sees differently and has a great touch.

yeah i absoulutly agree with you, too many ''stars'' in Real etc.. (but heres might not be the right place to talk about that)

Torres-Raul-Casillas are my fav players, I know what Raul can do, but I just think he should show that he can do better than Villa or Torres to be starter RIGHT NOW

still he scored in the last game spain played friendly before the world cup (i think) and he just scored VS tunesia, he is playing well, much better than he ever did this year, but i think he will get his chance...

btw, i eard spain will not make play ''starter'' players VS Arabia, because they have to be ready for next round and some of them have yellow cars (would be stupid to make play Puyol and lose him for a game witch could be VS the winner of the game F1 vs E2, probably Brazil will get vs Spain there)

anyway, let see what happends friday :P

Just bringing this back up so maybe Fernando Torres will learn a thing or two about one-on-one with the goalie situations ;)

It's all muscles! ;)

But seriously, if you look at his belly it isn't fat. He has the "6-pack" or maybe an "8-pack".
