McNish, Capello and Pirro started 2 laps down on the field at Road Atlanta and finished 4 seconds ahead of the Peugeot.

For a team that was so cocky on the run up to the Le Mans 24hr, including the press releases during the Le Mans weekend, their season fell apart quite spectacularly didn't it?

They scored more points than everyone else, were consistent and didn't suffer from the Peugeot syndrome of "panic and f**k it all up". That seems pretty fair to me.

3 - #1 Audi - 4, 3, 5, 5, 10
4 - #8 Pug - 1, 10, 0, 10, 0

Peugeot dropped the ball, whilst Audi kept plugging away solidly. Thats what sportscar racing is about.
