i dont get why big events like the 500 and Le Mans are scheduled the way they are. If your referring to the running of 2 races in 1 day like we've been discussing, then its kind of impossible to schedule ANY series around the NASCAR calender since theres a race almost every week. The NASCAR event (Coca Cola 600) runs at night, and the Indy 500 runs during the day, so it is *possible* to run both, but its a bit difficult and nobody has done it recently, especailly since alot of the NASCAR drivers will be racing on Saturday too, and sometimes Friday.
The Indy 500 is on the same day as the Coca Cola 600 and the Monaco GP. But due to time zones and NASCAR running at night, none clash. Monaco GP is first, hour or so later, Indy 500, and then at night the Coca Cola 600.
Le Mans only clashes with the US GP and the NASCAR Michigan event. Really, its impossible to get all these big events away from each other unless you've got a race early in the year like the Sebring 12 hours, Daytona 24hours and Daytona 500.
