To all Indycar fans,
I want to know who is your favourite winner of this year's Indy 500?

For me
I prefer Dan Wheldon can do it again since 2005

I am looking forward to this year's Indy 500
Although I cannot go to Indianapolis to watch the race
I will see the TV live broadcast

I don't watch as much anymore but I'd put my money on Wheldon.

I'm always for the underdog in the Indy 500. Hence I was really disappointed one of the Andrettis didn't win it last year.

I know what you mean, I was pulling for Marco or Michael but it didn't happen and anyway I think Sam's an A$$ anyway.

They should get mario back in a car too. Grandpa, father and son. Then they'd have an even better chance of an andretti win! Or if not, at least mario could flip the thing again down the backstraight. I hope an andretti wins but penske and wheldon seem strong.

it is a certain rumor? people says that JPM could run in Indy with another car of Ganassi and as soon as the race finishes would travel to run in Nascar...

(???) True or False (???)

Back to basics... I feel like a newbie! hahahahaa!!!

Think someone tried it last year but missed the other race, might be wrong.

To be fair, the suspension come apart and was ripping into the tyres. Engines arent developed by him. Hes in the top 35, which is more than can be said for some of the bigger teams!

i dont get why big events like the 500 and Le Mans are scheduled the way they are. They should be the only events on in that weekend so that a wider range of people can enter.

wishful thinking though.

How about this year's rookie Mika Duno???
Can she get into the final 35?

After this few day's test
I saw Chip Ganassi's cars performed good...

If your referring to the running of 2 races in 1 day like we've been discussing, then its kind of impossible to schedule ANY series around the NASCAR calender since theres a race almost every week. The NASCAR event (Coca Cola 600) runs at night, and the Indy 500 runs during the day, so it is *possible* to run both, but its a bit difficult and nobody has done it recently, especailly since alot of the NASCAR drivers will be racing on Saturday too, and sometimes Friday.

The Indy 500 is on the same day as the Coca Cola 600 and the Monaco GP. But due to time zones and NASCAR running at night, none clash. Monaco GP is first, hour or so later, Indy 500, and then at night the Coca Cola 600.

Le Mans only clashes with the US GP and the NASCAR Michigan event. Really, its impossible to get all these big events away from each other unless you've got a race early in the year like the Sebring 12 hours, Daytona 24hours and Daytona 500.
