Local Rally Pics

Earlier on I went up to Smetharpe to watc the rallying. Its a single venue event using a disused airfield with the stages defined by tyres which get moved between each stage. There was a big difference in cars from national spec Escort Cosworths and Imprezas, down to minis and a Dahatsu Charade :blink:

yer the thing is cus i've only just turned 18 i couldnt get insurance on a Cosworth. So i bought an Escort and put a cossie engine in it. And boy oh boy, you can't tell the difference!

hmm really, i bet the insurance company really loves that, you got pics of the engine bay?

btw is there a funny smell around here?

I was gonna buy a fiat 500 for £450 and have a poke around in that before I scoot off to uni next year to do mechanical engineering but a lack of a job and funds means I cant Shame, I love tinkering, even if it doesnt work afterwards

Get a FIAT 126, you'll find one cheaper than you would a 500. Both ace little cars anyway!
