Gp3-2000/GPX Problem

I have installed on my laptop(dreaded vista !)GP2(emulator)GP3, GP3-2000 and GP4.All the games run soundly except GP3-2000 which will not run through GPX where as GP4 and GP3 run through GPX?On GP3 2k I have decrypted exe but no luck on running the game through GPX?I have not patched it like GP3 3.13 I think the patch is,so could this be the problem.Also when I go on GP3 and GP4 it always asks me to calibrate graphics and sound which I ignore.Lastly if anybody knows for GP3 I added the 2002 season patch by???? sorry but when I go into the driver select screen all the driver pictures and team logos are mixed up-ie shumacher and barichello are in the mclaren section and coulthard and hakkinen in the ferrari section.Also on the track selection screen the same problem.When you pick say silverstone instead of a coloured pic of the latter you get a pic of spa and visa versa?ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

I think the problem is how the jamsH are interpreted by the GpxPatch

I think you first need to run the GP3 2000 by default after the installation, directly from the main file EXE and without the GpxPatch, and with the original tracks, try to check all the tracks, drive a cuople of laps to check that if all the objects and jams of the tracks are shown properly, to check the jams of the cars too, change cockpits, try to load all the 22 drivers at the same time. I know it is very difficult to leave pits then with all together.

If everything works well, I will advice to you to do the next step: install a different carset, the Ralph Hummerich's season pack (HW EXE file are still available in the author`s page) and check with the original tracks.

If everything is alright, install a track pack from Mattie Lattinen 2001/2002, still available in GP3 download pages, or install single tracks from Ricardo Lampert 2001/2002/2003 or Patrick F1 2004, alsop available in GP3 download pages. Then do all the check with the new carset, or with the original.

If you will see the first error on the jams, then you know what patch is working wrong: new carset or new track pack, remove 1 patch at the time and back to the previous step until you find the error is gone.

I once had a problem with the Gp3 season 2000: I could n´t find a complete carset available on GP3 download pages of the season 2004.

So I try with the GP3 jamsH editor, transform the Gp3 v.13 jams into BMP, then I installed the BMP into the GP3 Season 200 jams and replace them. Then I installed the GpxPatch carset manually jam by jam. The result was awfull, the GpxPatch crashes in debugged form several times riding a car, entering or exiting the pits. I deleted my season and start again once and another a lot of times repeating the same process step by step. After a lot of weeks getting angry with myself, it occurred to me a last idea: "what happen if you replace the Gp3 Season 2000 jams with the Gp3 1.13 jams (copy and paste), see the original position of the 2000 teams and then accommodate them to then 2004 season (forget the colors of the pitcrew team once and for all) I know is awful to see the Minardi yellow, blue, red and green colors with the colors of other car team, but it was the best I could do to play 17 season tracks instead of 16.

When I run the game, everything worked perfect, only I had to find a GP3 season 2000 artwork converter for the Gp3 1.13 artwork and then I was happy to race the last season of Ralf and Montoya together.

OK!what I have done is uninstalled gp3 ,gp2000 and gp3 1.13 patch.Then I re installed gp3 and gp2000.I then patched gp3 with 1.13 patch put in decrypt exe and gpxed it too.I started gp3 through gpx and no worries.I then did the same with gp2000 with decrypt exe and gpxed it.But when I sart gp3 2000 in gpx it comes up with error log file when I have de bug box checked.If I try to start with de bug box unchecked i get gp3 2000 exe as stopped working.I have tried different compatabilities and cpu 1,2,3 in gpx but still no luck.Maybe the gp3 2000 decrypt exe is the wrong one?????Anyway its really frustrating!!!!!!

Thanks Mortal download complete.Put decrypt exe into gp32k but still can't get game to work through gpx???Tried different cpu sets,compatability and ticking and unticking the de bug box but no joy!!!I have 3 or 4 different gpx patches so maybe try the others?At moment I have used gpx 3.93 i think it is,the latest for gp32k

HI MORTAL-THANKS FOR YOUR HELPTried what you said-compatability to win 98 on exe,verbosity to high and cpu to 0.With the latter I kept the de-bug box ticked but still no luck and another error log file which is below!One thing I noticed when I unticked the de-bug box it seemed as if it was going to go into game through gpx(hardrive light flashing)but after 5 mins no sign of game???
