Got alittle weird problem, the game will not use GPxPatch, i´ve installed it and choose a set and all, but all i´m getting is the original cars, drivers and tracks...

how come?

never had this problem before. Is it my decrypted GP3 2000.exe file that´s corrupt or anything else?

i have reinstalled the game, tried with the gp32k exe from the cd, reinstalled gpxpatch...it still doesnt work...

Maybe it is a silly question, but:
so you lunch GpxPatch and the game start:
- have you the flags on the options (gpxtrack, gpxset...)?

and i have choosen to skip intro and startup menu
choosen a set and car power team dependent...

yet, nothing. =/

As i said, a stupid question: in GpxPatch you can choose what CPU use, if you have a multi-CPU PC (like a dual-core PC).
It's in the bottom-right of the first foldere of GpxPatch.
And now, another more stupid question (sorry mate i don't have clever ones...):
- is the GpxPatch exe file in the same directory od your Gp3 exe?

GPxPatch must be in the root directory (GrandPrix3). As you have posted an error log, gpx is working. I would look at the path to the car-set first, to make sure that gpx can find it. Then set CPU to 0. GP3/4 can only use 1 cpu.

From your posted error log:

Have you changed the computers virtual memory settings? Check that the setting is for the computer to allocate virtual memory.

Your 2000.exe is correct, however (not knowing your OS), please try setting the compatibility to XP-SP2 and re-test.

no, not changed anything about the virtual memory. I´m using Win XP Home Edition. And the carsets are installed and gpxpatch can find them as its in the gpxdata as they´ve always been.
