belini reduced tracks for GP3

I'm no expert in painting, so it will be great if you would give the 2011 Belini genjams a try...

As far as I can see we need to create a folder called 2011 and place the genjams with the team images in the correct order according to our 2011 carsets... (Redbull garage first and so on) ..
Some garage/teambox images can easily be re-used for 2011 season, just placed in correct order... Furthermore I think we need a HRT garage Belini style... (I like the underdogs..)

Perhaps other changes is needed to make it work, maybe someone knows better than me....

Afterwards the newest Belini circuits (2010/11 versions) have to point to the 2011 genjam folder (by using TrackEditor)

does these tracks work in gp3 2000? and the reduced, does that mean the po isnt at 2000%? =)

the original versions (non-reduced) work in gp32k as they were designed

You have to reduce the file size to get them to work in gp3 hence "reduced"

if youre machine is poor you'll still get 2000 PO% as apart from monaco & hungary 2003-2010 i havent had to take out many objects

I think they will work in GP32k as well and the po is rather normal on my pc...

Perhaps just try a single circuit and see how it works with the already installed Belini jams on your pc..

when i´m using for an example the 2002 trackpack from Matti Laitinen i´m getting excellent PO, just around the 50% and sometimes less, but with Bellini´s tracks the po is massive, and i´ve talked to Belini about it and he said its because the tracks are so detailed plus my graphics card is to new for the game.

So that´s why i was woundering if the reduced tracks got better po than the originals

Yeah,with my inbuilt chip,po goes up to 300-350 on most of belini tracks.

windows 7 causes most of the problems, create a Windows XP partition and run it on that. Never had more than 50 PO on XP

i am running it on xp

strange then. on my system i run all the belini tracks at no more than 50 PO so i think you'll be alright running them

Is everything necessary needed for these to work included in the downloads on this thread? I've tried the 2006 tracks and the game quits as soon as I try loading a track

no it isn't because as you'll see when downloading these packages are just the reduced .dat files. (the circuit files)

you will need all of the jams, jamsh and jips in the correct folders to run these tracks.

Don't forget (as belini tells you to do in his help files) to run gpxpatch in debug mode verbosity low. or these tracks will not work....


PS for everyone reading this thread, it is out of date. all my reduced stuff on this thread are the old reductions. the megapack thread is the very latest versions. most efficient reductions. Everybody go there from now on. not here
