Hi there!

Can you explain how you go about making these replacement intro videos and what software / programmes with what setting you use? Many thanks!!!

hi,

the scenery is made by some 3D-modelling SW (Maya, Cinema4D,etc.)
settings there are too many to explain. it takes you 6+ months serious studying to know how it could work 8)

No. sorry. I think you misunderstand. I don't mean how to make the piece of video the tv channel made (3D models etc) but how do you take any piece of video and import to into the 'cut scene' videos at the start of the game and when you get pole etc to match the year you are racing in.

ah, ok.
you need a videoediting SW like "premiere" to make the video you wanna insert.
then use "RadVideoTools" to convert into the gp3-video. I did it some time ago and it wasn´t so difficult - little testing did it.

values here:
size: 640x480px
color depth: 32
fps: 25
sound: 22050Hz, 16bit, stereo (old format)

I will definitely give that a try. I did manage to make one a few years ago. Picture was fine but no sound. I'll try your values!
