gp3 with win7 64 help!!!!!

i`ve installed GP3 on my new win7 pc, but i cant get gp3 to run, i get an error message "unable to load file f1system.txt reinstall gp3 which i`ve done several times, i`ve checked in the gp3 folder for this file and nothing shows up, anybody any ideas????????????????????????????????????????

i`ve tried running in compatability modes makes no difference still get same message
