Hungaroring track problems

Can anyone please help. I have been using the 11_Hungaroring (2003+ layout) circuit in GP3 (made by CESC I think) but when I try to save my progress the game dumps to desktop. The track is driveable with no problems. Initially when the game goes to desktop the error message stated that the number of swivel arms did not match the number of scenery structures. I did manage to rectify this problem but the game still goes to desktop and not the menu.
