purple tyres - help

Hi people, I have just got a new pc so as i expected something went wrong with GP3 lol

I now get the purple tyres bug

Im running it on XP 32 bit but on a 64 bit machine

nothing else is buggy or wrong just the tyres

ive searched through every result from the search bar and cant get any conclusive help so

could somebody please tell me what to do to fix this (other than repainting all tyres in every car set)

it's an NVidia realated bug, and the only solution (that i know of) is to open the tyre bmp and paint the pink bit black or dark grey

Ah, okay . Well I've got a nvidia control panel on xp , so I'll fiddle with the setting on that and see if anything changes .

If anybody does know of an alternative do let me know

be careful in the NVidia control panel - with AA and/or AF (i can't remember which) enabled, GP3's performance is absolutely awful... let me know if anything works - i'm sure i tried everything though, and just resorted to painting my tyres...

I had a similar problem with my Nvidia GForce card.
I saw a purple line on the wheel (the hoop to be precise) and not on the tyre. The problem was due to a part oh the hoop painted in a very light silver, that my card was not able to manage. I painted that silver with a darker grey and solved.

i noticed that not all of my sets have purple lines which is good

however the tyre bitmaps appear wrong

for example the left bridgestone tyre wall logo is not visible

and the right bridgestone tyre wall logo is near the middle of the tyre :/

weird?

There was a fix for this not that long ago on the forums. The problem is because of misaligned bitmaps IIRC. Search button is your friend
