i'm not expert with jips that's why i rarely dare to touch any of the original ones. if you imported the gridleft stuff from another folder make a double click on it and browse for the gamejip (you have to set the *.* in the file type) and import it. any other jip usually go in gamjip or the software jam folder. dunno more

So do I, never change an original jip file. My problem with Detroit was, it included gridline.jip and the pitlane is on the left side.
To edit the pitlane I needed gridleft.jip. I tried several times in the past to load the file into the track from the gamejips folder
in the way you told, but I never succeeded, I always got the error message "Cannot find Jam files not in GP3Jams Tree".
It seems that a few tracks (like Dijon, Imola, Detroit) are only able to handle jip files placed in the gamejips folder.
But I found another solution :-). I opened the dat file in a hex editor and changed the folder name manually into gamejips, it works!!
So soon (in a few minutes) another upload of the Detroit track (three versions in two days, very nice) will be available.
If anyone is testing Detroit, please give me a small feedback, if the track is working (with visible lines on the track).

I've add a new Imola version with realistic TV camaras.

You can download it here.

Hi,

I have uploaded new versions of all tracks except Detroit, Dijon, Imola (the have already been updated in the past).
Hopefully the CTD problem in GP3 1.13 when escaping the tracks will be solved.
All tracks now work perfectly with 1.13 on my PC, so there is no chance of analysis for me in future.

The tracks are also available on [www.grandprix3.co.uk]

Have fun

Hi, Uwe,
Have just tested all tracks in GP3 1.13. Work fine, no single problem. Thanks very much once again for your efforts.

;);) !! I have never thought of rework in this dimension after publising a track!
But I've learned for future track uploads. The main thing is, that now all tracks seem to be ok.

I'm working on it :-). At the moment there are 5 track packs (each consisting 17 tracks) in work, waiting to be finished and published.
5 more have been already defined, but no editing has been done up to now. And I've just started a new project together with Claudio Savina
to recreate a Daytona 500 track.

Yes, real length, real track banking and the chance to drive the whole 500 miles (not exactly because of the track length limit of GP3),
meaning 200 laps. There will be a 2 laps in 1 version to realise it.
It will be a complete new track.
