Hi,

I have just uploaded an Update of Zandvoort 70s-80s track to the GP3 F1 Tracks Download Section.
The track was originally made for GP2 by Kees van Wijngaarden, GP3 conversion by Starchild in 2001.

The track will also be available on [www.grandprix3.co.uk]

I hope you like it

Really great, great news, Uwe.
Especially now, when there is no more than two (two ?) - belini & Rob - active trackmakers (although Rob on vacation, "temporary" I do hope).
As a "track fan" I enjoy every track released/upgraded/updated.
Thanks very much !

Just a note - I tested Dijon and it works perfectly on GP3 2000 but in 1.13 when I escape from the track to the menu I CTD. I have tried all the usual stuff - different slots, different magic, various compatibility settings and GPxPatch settings and always have the same result. Any ideas fokls?

Ahh, that's a plan. Did you add magic data to the 2k dat?

(not that this is a big prob for me as I am running my season on 2k, but thought it would be good to give a heads up to Zieli...)

Hmmm, frankely I cant remember if I added the md to the 2k dat file but I was just trying out if this file runs better - and it did :) Just try it out ...

But again, the 1.13 dat file ought also to run without problems, so its fine to inform Zieli... :)

It seems that I haven't tested this track with GP3 113, shame on me :( !!!
I have the same problem, but I have already found the reason for the crash.
It seems that Dijon doesn't work with a Jip-File (Yardbrk5.jip) of GP3 2k, which I have inserted, the white line
on the track, where the split time is taken.
I have tested it with several tracks on GP3 113 without any problem. Dijon is the first track with this reaction.
So I will change the white line into yellow (it's already included in the track) and it should work.
Soon there will be an Update of the Update :-)

I have just uploaded new versions of Dijon, Imola, Detroit. They all had problems running on GP3113.
For Detroit there is still a problem, the JIP-Files don't work in 113, but the track doesn't crash.
If anyone knows a solution, please let me know.

Hi Rob.

help from an expert, very good :-) :-) !!
The Detroit track is now available in the Download section f1 tracks, if have kept all JIP commands in the .dat file of version 1.13.
In this version I have only removed Yardbrk5.jip. This is the only difference between the versions 2k and 1.13.
About Adelaide, I did no change on the track layout, just worked on the length of the track sections.

Regards,

Zieli

ok got it.
i will test it asap but at first sight on the dat i noticed that you put the yardbrick in the gp3jams/genjams folder. Usually I saw it in the gp3jams/dtr3jam or eventually inside gamejip folder.
Second thing the jam id of the brick is already used for another jam. 858 is already used in zeptban.jam probably in monaco folder. stat from them and see wot happens

Hi Rob,

I found another little (idiot) mistake, influences both versions, 2k and 1.13.
You have to place gridleft.jip into the gp3jams/genjam folder.
To use Yardbrk5.jip, I have changed the already used JAM-Id 858, so there is regularly no problem.
With gridleft.jip in the correct folder the JIPs are visible, but in 1.13 it crashes when escaping from the track.
Maybe it's a problem of the gp3jams/genjam folder, but I don't know how to change it into gamejips in the TE
