GP3 Carshape Physics?

When you change the carshape in GP3 does it affect the physics?

i.e. If I have a 2001 carshape and someone else has a 98 carshape will the lap times differ due to the shape of the car? Will it be more aerodynamic and improve times or will it make no difference at all.

It will make no difference in the car's performance at all.

You have to use the GP3 Advanced Physics Editor to change any of a car's performance characteristics.

GP3 carshapes are almost completely purely cosmetic.
The single slight exception is that the carshape may alter a car's dimensions so that you may be more or less likely to touch other objects or cars.
