Performance stored in saved game?

Hi all,

I just started a 2008 season but I realised that drivers performances may be a bit off on the carset I used. I'd like to update them with GP3edit but does anyone know if performances are stored in the season savegame or if GP3 always take the data in the game? I know that teams and drivers names are stored in the savegame, so I'm no too optimistic about the performances. Or is there any way to update performance files in a season savegame?

Thanks all for your answers!

I think performance is only saved when you save a game half way through a session, as you've saved
game after the race has finished you should be able to patch new performance for the next race

best option is to use gpxpatch for performance files.

you mean that it's possible to use an hex editor to tweak performances between races without causing pc explosions?
this gives me an idea :o

Wow, answers by Belini and Roberto Scandura in persons, I feel lucky ;)

Anyway instead of whining here I tried by myself: I put a 10 in qualify/race perf to Raikkonen and Hamilton, and a 10 in qualify/race perf to Ferrari. Here are the results:
*If you saved your season between 2 races, the game will use the updated performances = they are not stored in the savegame!
*If you saved your season during a race, the game will use the performances stored in the savegame
*A driver with a race perf of 10 can drive suprisingly well. Under the rain, Hamilton managed to spin off right from the starting line, but he managed to recover and quickly overtook the Super Aguri in front of him

just repatch new values with gp3edit no need to hex edit

Errr as I said in my previous post it seems like it's not the case!

May I sense a new update in GpX Race Manager? (*)
