Me again... Just tested the track... Ran an entire race... Take a look who comes to give out the checkered flag...

That's it... The pit wall boxes for first three teams comes to track to celebrate the win... And no trace from Checkered Flag man...

it happens in other tracks too where i see trees invading the track after the end of the race. Never had any idea about it, only thought about track being overloaded of details screwing memory or marshals/flag man overlapping an object present in the offset where they are supposed to appear. dunno further more, but excellent track!

I havent played gp3 for years but I remember this happening on ricardo lamperts monza track where a building would appear at finish line on last lap.
Its something to do with the chequered flag man command (or object, cant exactly remember) needing to be in the correct place in track editor.

is this the gp32k version, I've not had any problems

the chequered flag bug was caused when I had to re-build singapore 2009
to get it below 200k, the object def got changed without me noticing,
should be ok now.

marshalls are a real pain, do you mean that they can appear
through the barriers? this effect is usually caused when running
with other cars which makes it a pain to try and fix, most bugs
are caused by scenery ribbons or even changing the sun position.

gp3 is really buggy and still has a lot of unknowns, at the moment
I have a really strange problem with corrupt scenery at suzuka
but only in slot 15, slot 16 there's no problem, difficult:(

i'm not sure about this but i noticed that non 3d objects may cause some overlapping problems. in example a couple of times i noticed that if you enable the 100/200/300 signals from the track sector you have to take care if you later place an object where the game calculates to put the panels. I found strange that i had no way to make appear an object in certain places.

the bug of the after-race happened also in some lighter tracks so i guess is something id related. recently raced at birmingham and noticed trees moving inside the tracks where i supposed there should be marshals waving flags. But during the race never noticed problems with marshals waving yellow flags

what kind of problem happens at suzuka?

meter boards are classed as objects

can't vouch for any modded belini tracks

the track maker has used flagman object defs as trees

well it's weird, I'm working on the alterations on suzuka 2009 slot 15
based on the 2006 version (slot 16) and I'm getting scenery corruption
@ turns 3/4, identical dats loaded to slots 15/16 one good, one not

that track maker is actually me ;)
none of the additional trees has the flagman id. i always replace trees with trees to avoid to use unwanted ids. sometime i see also the pitboxes along the track :S

never seen problems with slots, hope you can solve it
