Currently developing this one...
This is a fictious carset, based on a series I ran in original GP1 since 1997, with drivers being actually some of my friends (hence the name, Amigos Series, Amigos = Friends)... Then, I upgraded to GP2 and then, to GP3... Unfortunately, I never was able to make a full carset... until now...
This is the 2009-10 Amigos Series Carset... Maybe I'm going even to release the series by the same way as rod_vs does with his GP32k offline series... (hint: R. Vilela will compete for this season...) So, keep tuned...
This carset is for GP3 2000 season, as it has a full set of liveries... Also, there can be chosen two carset modes: the simple mode, with a same default livery for all races and the complete mode, for separate carsets for each race, where some details in liveries may change... (e.g. previously, when tobbaco advertising was allowed, except for some races, there are NT liveries for those races...)
I'm currently making the pitcrews... I've made some minor updates to cars and cockpits and revamped completely the helmets... (they are hi-res now...) I'm not planning to make the pitboxes, as I use Belini tracks and if I wish to change those boxes, it's going to be a pain... "there"...
Credits:
- Car template was based on original template made by Bojan Tarticchio
- Helmet template was based on another template (forgot the author's name...)
- Cockpit template was made using an original GP3 2k cockpit as base
- Pitcrew template was made using Belini's original works
- Bridgestone tyres fully made by me, including wet tyres
Of course, it seems that I developed a fix for that annoying pink tyre bug... So, anyone who experienced that, may get a "fixed" tyre... BUT!! For those who haven't experienced that bug, I'm going to make another version...
And that's all... I hope so...
