Sounds like you don't have the right jam files selected in GPxSet in GPxPatch. Use Season set to check to make sure you have selected the 2009 car files for GPxPatch. Alternatively you can export a 2009 carshape to EXE using Carshape Editor (It mightn't be called that, it's a long time since I played GP3
