Season 2009

Well its that time of year again - I am in the throws of updating GP3 to this year`s season as I do every year for some considerable time now.
Thanks for the help of the gallant few who tirelessly paint the new season`s cars
For a current season this is what I do and what is needed
1.the cars
2.team art
3.pitcrew
4.the pit banners
5.helmets ( cannot find vetel,bordais or buemi )
The difficult part - the tracks - this year 17!
Cannot believe I cannot find a decent bahrain and valencia .
However onwards and upwards - loads to do and need to get on - after all the 1st race is looming

if you take a look at the topics, you will find 2009 cars by Jonathan Harder
and Jyce, you can take the tracks from 2007/2008.

Those tracks are for gp3 2000 not for gp3 I thought. So then he's right

It's just my opinion but I think that updating GP3 to 2009 season, at this stage of the campaign, is pointless.

We still don't know about the performance of particular drivers for 2009 season and not earlier than after the Australian GP will we have some extremely vague idea of what the season may look like. I'd rather wait some 3-4 races to get a more clear vision of season leaders, backmarkers, disappointments and surprises etc so that it's possible to make a reasonable perf file. You know , it's nothing worse than racing with, say Buemi, and get passed by Heidfeld...who knows? maybe this year's Toro Rosso is stronger than BMW and it will be Heidfeld who's going to watch Buemi's rear? That's why it's better to wait for the real-life race results. Cheers

ok, I have downloaded that file, but what shall I do with the 2009 launch_11.Gp3?

It is for the 11th (fictional team) you have the choise...

I need som help with the cars this is how thei look like: [img212.imageshack.us]

and you can see that the ferrari f1 09 is wrong, and i don't knouw what to do...

What carshape do you use , looks like the sharkfin one by 11marco.

its colled: shape_2009_by_jonathan(original).cs3 .....

For this shape you have the right Ferrari view, use the 2009 generic carshape or
F60-2009 by 11marco, it is in the "Misc" section at my homepage.

ok, I did download you F60 carshape but its still wrong...

Shape is correct, you have the 1998 liveries though

yes, I knouw that, but I have yused GP3edit to change it to 2009, but it doens't work in the game....

bow know I have found out that if I use Gp3.exe to start te game there wil be 2009 design on the car but there wil bee 1998 carshape.
And if I use GPxPatch there wil bee 2009 carshapes with 1998 design.....

But how can I geth 2009 carshapes inn to gp3.exe?
