belini v8 to v8.1 update

some of you may have wondered why all the uploads stopped, well I found a
better way of programming the magic data so here's an update for released
v8.0 tracks.

melbourne, interlagos, buenos aires, jerez, nurburgring, indy, shanghai,
sakhir, valancia, fuji, istanbul.

reprogrammed magic so cars are more managable in the wet and player is less
likely to oversteer in low grip seasons, refined fuel management, evened out
performance of player/ai lap times, player vs ai sector times should now be
equal.

forgot to mention in the txt info:
removed player advantage in hotseat races, well almost player now only
has a 2/10th to 4/10th advantage for 3 or 4 laps then lap times even out,
compared to the original game where the advantage increases over the whole
stint which can be as high as 3sec in extreme situations.

Thanks, Paul, could download it and also Sepang (with logout/login),
but not Imola, maybe 11 MB are too big...
Could some download Imola ???

Suggestion... How about to make still active tracks on the current layouts? What I mean? Example: Jerez with that "UFO" in pit straight is a good one... As Belini had released Valencia circuit (not the one used by F1...)

And why not... The new tracks used for test... Portimão and/or Paul Ricard...

That's it... (I want a new PC!!)

main reason is because I like to race careers. as these tracks
are primarily for my use, you get what you get, 12 seasons of racing

to make a track from scratch takes at least 200 hours to complete, updates
usually 4 to 8 hours unless there's major changes like silverstone 96 which
clocked up another 30/40 hours, taking that into consideration I've still
estoril, singapore, abu dhabi and all the 2009 updates to consider, it's a
lot of hours

At least we will have the F1 belini challenge 1996-2008, full seasons to race
in 2k, so what do you want more ? It is a lot of time all trackmakers and
modders invest and they still have a private life.

Sepang and Imola (both v8.1) can not be downloaded here... Any suggestions, plz.

You gave the answer a while ago:

1- Do not log in
2- Select the file you want and select download
3- then it asks you to log in, do it and you can get the file.
I did it for each file and it worked.

It is still the same issue, Andrzej, works for Sepang.

imola, magny-cours, monaco part1, hockenheim, hungaroring, spa, suzuka.

If anyone got, please let me know.
IMO all these files are too big, should be smaller than 8 MB, seems that
bigger files cause trouble.
I will have to work tomorrow from 5 a.m. till 5 p.m. and hope there is a
solution Sunday evening. Good night !

Sepang downloaded successfully, thanks Helmut. And sorry, I've forgotten it is still European Union...
Can not download Imola. What concerns other tracks mentioned - I will try tomorrow and let you know.

i have the same problems, most of the downloads don't works

I can't get to download some tracks, like Hockenheim and Spa!!!

Isnt it possible to upload the files to your website untill this is fixed?

I send Paul (belini) a pm, maybe he can upload the tracks in two parts
or to a fileserver, he could use my filefront accout.
