gp32k carsets are usually mounted externally without major tools like gp3 edit for the 1.13 for what i know. So if you want to use a carset from gp3_1.13 into gp3_2k you can install an existing gp32k carset and replace one by one every original jam and text with the one you want.

The Gp3_2k carset has usually several .set files where are linked the liveries, cockpits, performances, tracks etc etc. there you can fix the different links

it's not diffiult :s
there is a folder with 22 liveries (2 each team) and a file with a links to each file. study the structure of a released carset. you'll see the scheme.

Or ask someone to mount the carset for you. If it's of public utility would be a good addtition anycase :)

If you use a 1.13 carset with GP3edit you can save all cars, cockpits, helmets
artwork, jackmen, pit boxes, tyres as bmp.files.
Now take a 2k carset (my HHW2008) to see the structure, you can put all 1.13
bmp.files with GP3Jammer into the jam.files (it is the best way for me),
all helmets files must be write protected ( sw + hw), for the artwork I use
CarsetCreator2000 to import from 1.13 and export to 2k.
I think somewhere is a tutorial for it, but learning by doing is a good way.

i used to set up my carset in GP3, using GP3 Edit, and then export it to game. Then using Carset Creator, i changed the folder to the GP31.13 one, imported everything, and then changed the game folder to the GP3 2000 one and exported everything. worked like a charm

Last step with CC2000, export to 2k always caused problems here.
