Belini 2008 tracks - don't work with me

Hi, people. Well, I told these problem with Paul... but I gave up to install 2008 tracks!

I tried everything, even reinstall the game. I deleted all Techjams and Gamejips, download again all the tracks, and nothing! I put the files on right folders, exatcly that Paul taught. I saved *.dat files exactly readme said. And nothing. No 2008 version works!

My GPxPatch is with the correct configuration: debug mode start and verbosity low.

I tried everything and more, including exchange GPxPatch versions. But the only track that opens in 2008 version is Valencia. I don't know that's resolve, but... my PC is Athlon 2200, with 1gb of memory and Windows XP set to Win98 (for game).

I'm really sad. By God, somebody help me?

Rodrigo, did you try various carsets, GPxPatch: try medium or high verbosity,
also you can disable compactibility Win 98, good luck !

how they crash? when you click on Drive, after the loading screens, after few laps?

2007 belini tracks ?

don't panic!!!!

first you don't need xp to be in any compatibilty mode, the tracks work with all versions
of gpxpatch and should be set to verbosity low.

it sounds to me that it could be a carset that's crashing it so:

disable any carsets/pitcrew/carshapes etc as errors in carsets will crash the tracks,
you should never need to re-install anything in gp32k, if there's any problems just copy a
new gp32k exe and delete or move f1state.sav.

if you're still having problems rename the 2008 jam folder of the track you're trying to load
as maybe a rogue jam is crashing the tracks, if this works then make a new 2008 folder and
copy a few jams into it to try and locate any faulty jam, then let me know.

Belini, I tried all things, I disabled all carsets and all things... but the only track that open is Valencia!!!

Rob, the game crashes while loading.

Helmut, 2007 tracks opens normally, 2006, 2005, 2004, too...

crashes during the loading always been for me related to jams.
in these cases i always put the jams in the folder few at times. when it crashes i work on that guilty jam. Or remove them few at time so when it stops crashing i check that jam. dunno if gp32k is the same or with belini track that have a complex jam tree tho
if valencia worked maybe the carset is fine, it shouldn't make exeptions otherwise

Well, good news!

I deleted all Belini files (gamejips, techjams, genjams, JAM files, DAT files) and re-install again.

I tested, from now, Sakhir and Shanghai. Both tracks opens!!

Indy, Fuji and Istanbul OK. But Istanbul track has bugs on resolution JAM size.
