Yesterday I had a look on the updated track data base at Robertos Homepage.
I can say only one word, fantastic :-) :-)

I found two quite small bugs, Imola Tracks can be found in Italy and San Marino,
the links to Spain and Sweden have to be swapped.

Question to Roberto:
Is the new data base already finished? The old Excel-based one includes much
more circuits. The main thing I miss is a link to fictional tracks.

Regards,

Zieli

imola was under Italy in 80s before the San Marino Gp was stated. I'll move it all under San Marino sol will have one reference
tnx for the bug report, going to fix it :)

I withdrawn the old database because the excel sheet atarted to have misfunctions on Altervista. That's why i did this one which seems more light to load at least.
For now it's uncomplete because i need to put fictional tracks as i locate them in my HDD and on the site as well as the trackpack by night that will be listed separately.

From the old database i temporarily removed the belini tracks as soon i'll put them in a different list with versions and specific entries. Also i simplified the list because if a zip contains different version of the same track you'll actually point to the same zip. unless it's needed a different entry i'll put a note about the tracks included in the zip Also i removed the tracks contained into tracpacks. I'll show a list of single trackpack with contents.

suggestions welcome, because i found hard to find some of the old tracks. they risk to disappear

In my opinion every track which has been published should be available
somewhere in the community. So, Roberto, if you don't find one, let us
know. It must be possible to upload every missing track to the download
section of this Site.

i finally found this track in the grandprixp2.com, is the one by Jason Sinnbeck? yawk! 6.5 km are too much these days :s

honestly doesn't say much to me, apart the hill is all flat and i hate a tunnel in that way. If I had the license to kill, more than a conversion I'd do a reworking like i did in st etienne and coppermine. i've put down this scratch for my idea.

i'd play with the heights and invent a new location. As i'm addicted to forest tracks possibly hilly, first i'd locate a path through the forest for an ordinary road (gray course) then i'd place the area for the permanent autodrome like the short hockenheim style (something inside the blue area) and finally a mix of permanent/temporary track like Spa (red course)

...in the meantime, the gp2 purists killed me... ;)

ok thanks Roberto...i used to play this track in gp2 very often and i like it very much. Unfortunately i can't gp2 anymore and now i focus more on gp3 and gp4. Drafi in copy, you do have a copy? And why is it a poor conversion?
