There is GP3 carset creator 2000 for GP3-2k. Which I'm also starting to work with, or trying to.

I decided that it was time for me to make some use of my GP3 2000 CD. However, i'm having trouble editing carsets. I've tried to import the carset i'm using in GP3 1.13 to csc2000 and then export it to GP3-2000, but whenever I go to test it, the game crashes while a track is loading.

Well, try csc2000, if you can make it work properly let me know how you did it, please:P

Cheers

The better way is for me to save the GP3edit files as bitmap and change
the jam files in 2k with GP3Jammer by importing the bmp.files.

Well, I had this problem too... Stopped when I imported/exported the cars one at once instead all at once... I export the cars with CSC 2000 and then COPY the jams to another folder and rename them...

Yes, because to create a season set with GPxPatch, the JAM IDs must match (_mclar00.jam uses IDs 289, 290 and 291; Ferrari uses IDs 292, 293 and 294; and so on...)

Same here, but I use JamTool to import BMPs to Jam files and save them to a folder I create for each championship. Once you get into the routine, it doesn't take that long to update GPxPatch. Isn't CSC2000 an unfinished beta? I never got it to work.

There's a Record Editor for GP3 and GP32K under Utilities/Editor in the Old Downloads section.

Well, I thought I should try GP3jammer and it comes be rather simple to change the jam files by importing the bmp files from GP3 edit. I got the liveries, and all helmets to work correct, now I need start working on the pit crews and the tires.

The only weird thing I get is some transparent parts in some of the cars.

BTW, can you have two different liveries in one team, in more than one team? I mean, I noticed that the only team that has one different jam file for each car is McLaren, can you have more teams like that?

Cheers

If you assign cars with GPxPatch, yes...

The "transparent color" is RGB 0,0,0... Avoid this color, make the darker black to be, at least, RGB 8,8,8...

Sorry for the dumb question, but how do I assign the cars with GPxPatch?

In GP3 1.13 I had this sort of problem, that in even playing in Ace level, I could be 1sec faster than the cc cars. Does it happens the same here in GP3 2000? Is there a version of belini's gp3 v.1.13 grip patch for GP3 2k?

BTW, is it possible to have more than one tire manufacturer running on a GP3 2k carset?

Thanks
