BRITISH GRAND PRIX - RACE

Welcome to the first Night Race of the Grand Prix World Series. We are here in Birmingham, UK. All drivers are already on their
positions...

GOOOO!!!!!

Hans-Helmut Wiencke can pass Gault!!!

Paulo Silva (5.) can pass Nick Vooght (6.)

But then this! Silva want pass Lucas Jeha, but the brazilian don't want lose his place.

Jeha sends Silva into a flip!!!

Oh my god! The most drivers are now in a traffic!!! The leaders can be happy, because they have now won enough seconds gap.

Wiencke is the current leader.

Andrew Jewitt opens the pit window.

One lap later, Frank Vandeneynde and Alex Moser comes into the pit.

And again one lap later, Wiencke comes into the pit.

The british crowd screams! Gault is now the leader.

Championship-leader Daniel Paiva is at the moment on the last position!

Lap 8. Gault comes into the pit.

Lap 10. Vandeneynde had a oil leak and retires.

Lap 12. Lucas Jeha, who was the leader for 4 laps, goes into the pit. Wiencke is now the leader.

Lap 15. James Buster and Ben Parker are the last two, who makes the pit-stop.

2 laps to go and then this. Javier Angel and Roberto Scandrua fight for position 19.

Angel kicks Scandura into the side.

The italian has no chance and crash into the wall!

Angel can continue with the race, but Scandura is out of the race.

Paiva must have a problem, because he was in the pit. Or was it a strategy to catch the point for the fastest lap?

Well, we don't know it. The only thing, we know, is the fact, that Wiencke has won the British Grand Prix. Congratulations!

Gault (2.) and ...

... Vooght (3.) are giving the british crowd a sweet present.

Here the complete result:
Can't argue with 5th place, but a retirement from Paulo is no good...though, considering our luck this season, I can't argue with the results at all, really...
A good weekend for me. Another podium and at the home GP, nice to see another Brit on the podium as well. Frank, not so good, I think thats our first retirement of the season. Shame.

I assume we are still top, DJ, how about post the standings after the race so I don't have to go to the webstie.

Shame about losing so much time in the 1st lap incident, but happy to take some points once again.

And Gaulty, is it such a big effort to go to Rotty's site? ;)

edit: @ Rotty, where did you get that Birmingham track from?
