Hi everyone,
Two or three days ago, me and a friend of mine tried to install GP3 (1.13) on his comp - CPU Intel CentrinoDuo 2.16 GHz, 1.00 GB RAM, ATI Radeon X1400.
GPxPatch verbosity was set to "medium", CPU to "1", debug mode, in Win98 emulation (earlier XP).
Graphics were extremly slow, no even a chance to play.

Try also setting verbosity to 0, test, then medium, test, then high and test again. Your specs should run it no problem at all.

Thanks mortal. Almost all went right, with cpu set to "1". One need to be just very patient and let the computer to finish testing gp3 graphics, even if that lasts for a long time...
Gp3 is fully playable, but in "out of the box" version. Each attempt to add new tracks caused problems - either tracks were not recognized (and default tracks appeared) or they were, but looked like a lot jams were not installed or installed improperly.
