Champ Car "reds" ?

so I have the 2006 champcar set but I'd like to add the "reds", those tires with the red sides, except I can't find any. And I tried making my own, but something obviously didn't work cause then my tires looked all weird.

Can anyone do them for me ? (if possible using the tires in the 06 champcar set found in the downloads)

Or someone explain to me how they're done ? I saved the hardware bmp and went into paint shop pro, got some red in but then in GP3 it looked very weird after I exported them, like some completely different file had taken over the tire file... it seemed like the team logos were using for the tires *confused*
