I lost all my GP3 carsets and I managed to obtain those again, but I couldn't get the 1996 carset because of the the same problem oconnorivan started this thread.

Yup. This is the reason for which I have all my GP3 and GP4 add-ons stored on four CDs. This will spare me the effort that you have to make now. Whatever happens, I will be always able to retrieve my resources.

you could fine both version gp32000 in gp3universe mod , and gp3 1.13 in my GP3++ mod (I'll update in days with new 2019 version ) .
Both are on this form, look for them .
