Hi guys,

Does anyone know what the cause is for reliability problems?
For example: what causes a transmission/electrical/water leak etc?

Some obvious reasons can be the plank wear I suppose. When I look at the performance data, I cannot see anything wrong. The suspension and ride height is ok, the plank is hardly worn.

I know you can tune the reliability with gpedit, but apart from this is the failure of the car just random (does the computer just decide you will get a transmission problem because "your number is up";). The reason why I ask is because I will use the same setup on a track such as Italy(Monza), and win the race one day and get a loose wheel another day.

Is there a set of "rules" I should know of or are failures just random?

It's in the perfomacne file and the magic data files.

The performance file sets the chance of any kind of failure occuring for any particular team.
The magic data file sets the chances of particular types of failures occuring for all cars.
