video card problem

hi I recently purchased a tnt2 m64 32mb pci card for games and have received no performance boost in gp3 from it. In fact it's performing worse than my onboard sis630 video card in both software and hardware modes. At first I thought it was just a @!#$ card but then I tested it on other games and it worked great eg in the gpl demo I can get 36fps at full detail at 1024res with my tnt compared to 20fps@1024 for my onboard video card.
I know it's a bottom of the line card but it should be able to do better than 512res with po over 100% in gp3. I've gone through the gp3 documentation but can't find any assistance there. Please help

wot cpu do u have, cos gp3 isn't really affected that much by a gfx card but u r right u shouldn't receive worse perfomance. u got right drivers and direct x installed?

for the tnt2, i dont think the latest drivers are the fastest. try get hold of the det 3's (12.90's i think) and not the det 4's which are on nvidia website and are targeted top gf3 and gf4

For the tnt2m64 you need Det3 6.5 drivers, keep in mind that the game is prcessor hungry and as "B" says is not gfx card dependant. It is not unusual to see PO rates well above 100% as well, this can occur on highend chip systems also. Hopefully gp4 will be better ;-)
