this is what i do when i'm having trouble with a mod or track!

Make another clean gp3 game from your origal gp3 disk on either the same hdd ,that you have your origial gp3 game installed.

or on a storage drive if you have two or more hdd's
on your system
just install the second gp3 with patch 1.13 with nothing else. then install gpx 3.91 patch .Get the game configureed and up and running . Once up and running install phoenix1991 to the second game .

I useally have 4-5 games of gp3 installed each one for a particular season .

try to rename it into F1ct12 and copy it to your circuits directory. works fine for me, even without patch.
