I'm using the generic 2006 that fits okay with the artwork that Drafi and co put out. But straight sidepods are a problem of a greater complexity even though the current design does have them raked in a bit. As I understand it, there would need to be a lot of re-mapping to create anything like the cut-away sidepods all the cars have had for the last few years. Another major item is the rear of the engine cover that is cut away these days. Add in the front wing over-wings that are popular and its all getting very heavy work. And that's if you have a head for the designing/configuration of carshapes.
But we WANT our cars to look more realistic and it does surprise me that so few experts work on the cars while tracks seem to be coming along much better (thanks Belini, Roberto and everyone)
