problems in old downloads

Hi, I am having problems with some of the old files in the old download section, I get corrupted zip or rar files which wouldn't open, do you know the cause?

No, I do not know the cause, and it happens to a lot of people, including myself.
Using a download manager, such as DAP (Download Accelerator Plus), as was recommended in another thread about this same subject, seems to solve the problem for most people, including myself.

Don't tell us.
We know about the problem, but are not in a position to do anything about it.

Tell the site staff.
They probably could fix the problem, if they knew about it.
