Do you use patch 1.13 and gpxpatch?
As you may know there is a problem with winxp when you want to load a saved game, but I have tried saving laps in xp and it worked.

i do use patch 1.13 and gpxpatch
i have no problem white save games
only with hot lap
also when im trying to laod a set up its not the right set up...

That is weird mate, I am not sure if I can help you here, but if nothing what other people suggestor what you do works then try reinstalling the game.
