I just ordered this game. What are some good websites to update everything?

What are some good hints and tips for getting peak enjoyment from GPL?

ESSENTIAL OILS aren't essential unless you're an engine, a gearbox or a twat

heres a few pointers for people wishing to update the "out of the box" graphics.

GPL add-ons in all shapes:
[gplpp.com]

Carsets, program to install them:

Cars must be GPLAIM compatible - many are, also JFcarset which is a std. car update. Pretty big downloads each car update cause you get all parts available, from skins to chromed exhaust pipes, several wheel types may be - then you assemply your own car with the program!

Track-database:
[magnust.d2g.com]

Tracks updates for the default ones:

Much of the above and some more like track/cars/beginner-guides, the home of GPL if it has one:

Just the GPLCSM program links to many more so no need to list them here. But this will get you started. More complicated than just copying from cd, but not much really. Good idea if you are aware of the way files are organized in the GPL folder + subfolders.

Indeed, join the GPL forum at racesim and you'll learn quickly........car updating is in a transition now and demand mega processing power...for now I'm sticking with the original jf carsets at

[jfcarsets.cjb.net]

A great track source is the following

[gplpp.com]

I really enjoy GPL and PG3....it's great to drive past and present......have fun

Sounds:

[mywebpages.comcast.net]
[forum.racesimcentral.com] - helps you decide which to use, very important in GPL!
