ALEXG_F1 works thread - *Autodrome Gilles Villeneuve V 1.0 available*

Posted by alexg_f1
Hi !

I'm working on my first track project for GP3. This is a fictional track in Canada. A long track (about 7 km) with some downhills and very fast corners.

Here are the track map and some screenshots.

I'm working on the CC-Line... The more difficult part! ;) The track will be available soon.

It is a fantastic track, and it's an unusual track. Well done.

Thanks !

I take a break for the holiday, but I'll continue in January. I've another project in head.. A street track ! And maybe an oval after it...

To be honest... for the street circuit, I want to do a track in my own town. Especially in my district. And I think that it will be very difficult to do, but it's a good challenge! ;)

A street track would be good. It would make some more challenges for everyone that will drive on your tracks. Good luck with the oval too. ^_^

Yes! We're short of street tracks. Where's your hometown, Alex? I have often wondered what a London street track would be like, or, best of all, a mountain track, like a hillier version of Bandon Park (but with a straight bit).

My hometown is Joliette, in Canada. A litte city...to North East of Montreal. To be honest, I do it for fun. Because I did the track yesterday and it's not a very challenging circuit...

It look like that:

For Autodrome G.V. a big part of the cc-line is done. I also changed the horizon so it look really different and it's too cute ;) Seriously, it look better.

I also have to fix some bugs, so the track will be avaible in 1 or 2 weeks.

For the street circuit, I started the track but I really don't know in which country put it.. Do you have idea??

Maybe a country where we don't have any track... New Zealand, for example!

Here's my two future projects.

Wellington - New Zealand - Street Circuit
5.96 Km - 3.72 Miles (with hills and downhills ;) )

No place for the moment - Super Speedway
2.5 Miles

You are going ot make Wellington?!

Sweet! It was a very narrow track and overtaking was difficult.

No.. this is a fictional track. Not the present Wellington circuit. Honestly, I didn't know there was really a track in Wellington.
