Thank you very much, Paul, great works as always, you can use A1-Ring 1999-2002
for GP3.113 as well.

Happy racing from Germany !!!
Belini: does your new grip patch works only with your tracks or does with works with the other gp3-2000 tracks at all? Also i´m unable to download it because the link is broken/dead!

the grip patch should work with any track as long as the magic data is
programmed properly ie: the values are similar to those used in original
tracks.

the patch must be used with the physics files as they work together to
produce the slipstreaming effect, you get unrealistic top speeds without
the physics.

the player grip util removes the need to reprogram the magic data. all
belini tracks are setup with the correct lap times, most of the grip
related values in the magic are interlinked.

for example change the ai grip in the tracks magic data to match the
players preformance will result in having to adjust the track timing or track
grip which then also has a slight effect on the player grip, etc etc....

using the util hard patches the exe with the grip level the player wants
to compete at, values shouldn't exceed 16384 as you get weird handling.
the same rule applies for the performance files, anything over 16768 will
result in the ai getting confused.

can't do anything about the link, report it to grandprixgames.org

@Belini:
Do you mean any physics file?I.e Ralph Hummerich 2002 season set physics together with the tracks from the Flo 2002 update?
It seems that you are actually more concerned to more important things, like this grip patch;),but, anyway,i would like to make you a question: Is there any possibylity to tweak or fix the rear light bug or at least this thing: why, when in the pits, just me can see the cc cars with the rear lights blipping and why the cc cars can only see my rear light blipping when leaving the pits?
Just another question: I have an AC97 onboard sound card, wich supports eax,but i can enable only the 2d eax. What do i have to do to enable the other eax option?

the grip patch can only be used with the belini physics files

well it does take gp32k to another level :)

nope, think there's more on this in the gpxpatch help

no idea, drivers maybe

Hi friends!
Great news and of course great new downloads! I have only a question: to play with the default gp32k grip, what I have to do? I don't know exactly where I must change the driver performance. Please give me the solution.
Thanks and 1000 times thanks belini for your work and patiente!!

Happy racing from Spain!
How can I use this track for gp3 1.13?

Best's

when you use the grip patch the grip level of the car you're driving
is the same as that in the performance files, to change just edit in
notepad. if you take a bit of time setting up your performance with the
player grip util, then you'll have a lot of fun drivng different cars, I
advise not choosing minardi, it's too depressing you'll be lapped by
lap 20 or sooner, pick ferrari and you should win.

there is a master plan to all this, belini gp3 career which will span
seasons 1999 - 2005.

next release: sepang 1999 - 2005

most belini tracks are gp32k only, a1-ring 1999-2002 verisons can be used
with gp3 but you need to convert the magic data to gp3 compatible, I think
all you need to do is edit out the extra values use in gp32k magic and
repatch the track.

Great work, great tracks, the only downside to it all is that i'm too fast on all circuits (bar Melbourne) - 2-3 seconds under the actual pole time! - even when I set the player's grip to the low 16000s.
I thought I should have a go at fiddling with track timing and ai grip & power to bring my performance to some more realistic level....
Thanks again, Paul, for your great tracks. If your master plan comes true, we will
have a new GP32k Challenge 1999-2005 !! Good luck for all your plans !

Happy racing from Germany !!!

only v4 tracks (melbourne/a1-ring) perform properly with the new grip patch.
until I get time to do it a quick fix for old tracks is to change the magic data

desc51=added to car.field_108. related to cc grip factor

to either 0 or 64768

lap times will be out though, probably be 2 or 3 sec

another method is to use a base value of 15360 using the player grip util,
the performance should be a lot nearer to your pace.

sorry about this, I'm slowly working through them but it may take some time.

yep... think you're going to enjoy it, it's all player performance based,
so as long as you make up places from whatever grid position your bank
balance will rise, which gives you more money on bhp or chassis/driver
etc....:)

only v4 tracks (melbourne/a1-ring) perform properly with the new grip patch.
until I get time

Oh if that's all then there is no problem really :) That's great news.
Just take your time I'm sure it's gonna be worth it. We'll wait patiently
