Help! I've got this very strange problem with my Radeon 9000. Look at these pics:

Those cars aren't damaged if you thought so! Screenshots are simply corrupt.
It happens only under Windows XP. I have dual booting WinME and WinXP. Under ME everything is ok. I believe it's got smt to do with drivers. Oddly enough, it seems that only digitally signed ATI driver causes the problem (WinME driver is not digitally signed).

I would like to know if anybody had a similar experience. Is this problem occuring even with more powerful Radeons than my 9000?

Not with my 9700 Pro it doesnt :(

Try changing the drivers? Could just be a driver specific issue.

Thanks for your reply -qwerty-.
Yes, I tried changing the drivers. It didn't make a difference, I tried various versions and it's always the same.
I guess it's a Radeon 9000 issue then...

Well, i got a Radeon 9800 Pro, and I don't have any problems playing it whatsoever...but I'm running it in win98 SE, so its stable and I don't have any graphic glitches with it.

I'm running the latest ATI drivers for win98, but I've got a split/dual boot system so I can choose whether to boot up my pc in winxp (for directx 9 games...Half Life 2)...or win98 for some of my older games (such as GP3).

But those screenshots look really weird, Speed_Addict, never seen that before!

I had issues with a Radeon 9200 and GP3, which were unresolvable

OK, I borrowed an R9600 from a friend and it ran GP32k absolutely perfectly with the same catalyst driver. So it's definitely my Radeon 9000 issue.

Ahh poo :(

A geforce 4 MX (very cheap) will run gp3 perfectly well, if you need a new card. Of course, if you wanted to play newer games you'd be screwed :p
