Keys sticking...?

Evening Gents,

I just installed GP3 on my girlfriends pc (1700 mhz, 512 ram, gf2 MX, windows 2000) and when I accelerate, the 'A' button seems to stick - even if I lift off and brake, the car goes full pelt into the wall :|

I did a search, no results. I don't know if it's a windows thing - sticky keys, or something, but I dont think it is.

Any one ever seen this / know a solution?

Cheers,
Chris

"Check that your girlfriend ain't pulling your joystick :P"

That is actually a good comment, lol. I used to race on the Original GrandPrix game and i used the keys...however i had an old joystick right next to me that I never used. I encountered the same problem and i spent hours going through all my joystick and Keyboard settings (in and out of the game). I realised one day that all the trouble was down to the fact I was leaning on the joystick with my elbow, hehe.

If there is actually a joystick on your girlfriend's PC check that you're not leaning on it and also check its correctly calibrated because that could cause some probs too.

Especially when your girlfriend has been working your joystick before.

If you're using GPxPatch, have a look at keys.ini file and make sure the control keys are not assigned to something else as well.

Every time I went to upgrade Graphics drivers I have suffered from this problem, pissed me off so much I setup an old PC with TNT M64 Card and run pre 28.xx NVIDIA drivers, works every time.
What graphics cards and drivers does anyone else use, trouble free?

Ahhh, that could be it, wando! I use 45.xx on a Geforce 2 mx - and keys stick.
