GP3 2000 graphics problem

Hi, I would appreciate it if someone could help me because this is really starting to annoy me. I have just bought the GP3 2000 season update and installed it. When I ran the auto caliberate graphics that comes up when you first load it, it caused the game to have an error and I had to close it. I tried setting the graphics up myself but for some reason they are really bad and slow and it crashes. I can run the original GP3 with full detail on 1024 x 768 resolution so what is the problem with GP3 2000????

My specs are:

Dell Notebook:

Pentium III 1Ghz
256MB ram
NVidia GeForce2 GO 3D 32MB video graphics card

I have the latest drivers so that isn't the problem. I find this very annoying when Grand Prix 3 worked perfectly.

Oh and I am running Windows XP as well....

Never mind I have fixed it myself simply by running GP3 2000 in Windows Me compatibility mode.
