keeps humming, stage exit left, anvil falls on his head, little tweety birds circle round his head ... )

No shoe, no sock, make my laptime rock!

But I still sit in the traditional upright position. I have not found a way to get a good position for the base plate, if I go horizontal. Any ideas?

Well,

I have my feet up as you know.

I have an old record cabinet which, together with my chair raises the height of my legs so they are horizontal.

On to this cabinet I have made an angled box to which I attach the pedals with 2 large strips of velcro .

In this way, the pedals have a higher angle and so are very comfy in use.

I have my computer in an old airing cupboard which is a particularly good size, if you emptied it out you could walk round in it.

The pedals are on the box pushed back to the wall and to stop my chair moving backwards when I push on the pedals, I nailed a piece of wood just inside the doors (which are open when I'm playing) and hook the front runner over it.

I just wish I had a picture to show you.

On my old desk, with my old wheel and pedals, i used to sit with my legs horizontal on a shelf on the desk. It was great until my legs went numb and I had to stop. I never managed a full race distance!

Now, though, I don't have any pedals. So it's just sitting at the desk normally with the wheel in front of me.

I use a joypad to play, so I either just sit at my computer desk, r stretch the cord out and lie on my bed.

You play with your feet? If you get older you might find something else ...
