2003 MEGAPATCH FINISHED!!!!!

no even in debug mode it crashes

had that with the earlier version from hungaroring 2003 too

you can drive it without problems but when you tery to leave it crashes to the desktop
please try to help

I couldn't download this patch. It always shows "unavailable page" message. Someone can help me in the way to finnaly enjoy this patch?
I've seen so many peoplel who has succesfully donwloaded it. How they did?

sorry to be that late.... but I didnt like it as much as I expected

1- the cockpit view is awful... I really dont know how you did to get it like that but I really dont like it

2- The carshape is strange... at some places it distorts the texture ; thats why I'll use Jan Friskorn 1998 shape instead

3- the engine sound is terrible... the default one is far far better

4- I really dont like the cockpit shape... the default one is, once again, far better

apart of those things, it's a very well done package

the software version will be even better

I made both shapes. Both were designed using as base the F1 technical regulations, F2003-GA measurements and the original gp3 shapes. Each single polygonon is proportional (when possible) to the default ones (this brings tex dist near to zero) and each part of the car was draw the way the technical rules say. There's really no problem that you dislike my work, since there are other good shapes to use. I just wanted to explain that the shapes weren't made without following a good research and base info. I'd like to know exactly what you'd like it to be changed (for next versions).

yeah ! there was a new engine sound.... my gp3sound.dat was clean before I copied all the files, and when I tried the patch for the 1st time, it was awful =S

I'll post a few pics of the distortions on the shape soon

I know what are the distortions, the biggest one is in the top of the sidepod. About the sound, i'm sure it doens't come with the patch. By the way, even if the file is there, i didn't change the sounds during any stage of the development!

Well, the distortion in the top of the side pods is a known bug...
Does the megapatch include the readme's of the original works?
