GP3 2000 update 01

I everyone

I saw that there is a big patch on the NET that will update everything in your GP3 and GP3 2000 game to the 2001 season. It is a 116mb update that contains the following:

- All season 2001 tracks (with new graphics, layout, ...) in the correct order
- Completely new season 2001 menu background pics
- New season 2001 track pics (with more infos about the track)
- Pit Communication Soundset
- Car Setups for all tracks
- New Startup and Game movies
- Improved cockpit display and graphics
- new in-game graphics (like a new pit monitor)
- new onboard cameras like a T-Cam and the Heli-Cam!
- much much more

I tried to download it, but it seems that the link is broken or something. Does anyone know where I can download it?

huh? i thought Flo had to remove it, because Infogrames said its illegal.
Well i guess im wrong. its a very good add-on! (not for dial-up....)

Im on a dialup, but I can download that in a night, but i'd rather not if it isn't all that good.

I downloaded it, took 6 hours.......apart from the menu art & intro movies, nothing else impressed me, so i copy the intros and menuarts over to the old version i was using before and binned the rest of it!!!!!!!!

a addon for gp3 at 116 megs!!!! is the whole gp3 game included in that or somfin!!!??

Well,... when you install it you will have completely new GP3 (i mean COMPLETELY, menu backgrounds, textures, carshape, tracks, gpxpatch, blablabla...)

- menu backgrounds, these are quite large is size so when you get the whole set its probably about 15Mb out of the 116!!

- gpx, yeah but its out of date so no point

If only the intro movies and the menu pics are any good, could somebody upload these so we dont have to download the entire thing?

Whats the point. The .bik file is huge, they could have it in mpeg and it would be smaller! I just always have GPx skipping the intro, and i never spend much time looking at the menu backgrounds.

OK, not so much the intro movies, but up to date menu backgrounds would be nice.
