Sorry my poor English :p
MarkWS, thank you!
Jordan Fan, to make the skin fit to the shape...
You have to edit the polygons proportionally to the polygons of the original shape. I mean...
If a original polygon is 200x300 and if you want to enlarge it, you could do it this way, adding 10%:
220 x 330
Just a example!
So, the polygon is now bigger and the skin won't be distorted.
But this is the MY REAL SECRET:
Real tyres are 660mm in diameter. GP3 tyres are 1110 points in diameter.
So...
660 mm = 1110 pts
0,594 mm = 1 pts
My shape is based on the F2003GA's measurements:
Length: 4545 mm
0,594 mm = 1 pts
4545 mm = 7651 pts (more or less)
It's also based on the 2003 technical regulations...
The max width of the car is 1400 mm
0,594 mm = 1 pts
1400 mm = 2356 pts (1178 each side)
Using this equation you're able to develop any formula car... all you need is the measurements! I'm willing to develop old shapes (80's?), but I don't have the measurements, nor the technical regulations
Oh, yeah, sure, you can add the shape on your carset. Just add the original txt file too and gimme the credits
Addicted... I can do that, I can also add the mirrors (but I hate that ugly black mirrors). But the lower part of the rear suspension will desapear...
Thanks guys
See ya
