GP2

I have problem with gp2. I can't make my srp-lite pedals to work with it. In indycar racing 2 it works very well with 4axis set in dosbox settings.
In gp2 however the I can't make both brake and throttle to work. It's only the other one.
I've tried with 4axis, 4axis_2, 2axis and the joysticks...no help. My srp-lite pedals are connected to my wheelbase moza r5. They can't be connected straight to pc. So there is only one controller showing
windows, which is this moza r5. I hope someone may have tackled this problemn already so I decided to ask from you guys.
I know I am not far away at this point. I had fanatec csl ps4edition belt drive wheel and it worked like charm. Now I have this dd-wheelbase and it has worked very well too, but not with
this particular game.
I have "collective minds drivehub" waiting to be tested here.
I remember that these old games worked with my fanatec gear only by using "combined" pedals and wheelbase setting.
Here I have this moza r5 and pedals combined naturally but in "calibration" menu in gp2 the "slider dot" is not in the middle where it goes down when braking and up when throttle. Instead it's not
recognizing the throttle at all but brake is working. Or vice versa.
Weird thing..very weird, because almost in every other game this works like it used with fanatec.
So I need a trick to make my brake pedal and my throttle to one axis. Is there any "simple" way to achieve it?

Upgrade to GP3.

I think it is very hard to find this kind of help for GP2.

Hi,

I play these all old racing games for nostalgia reasons. Today I managed gp2 to work with my moza pedals. I used vjoy and ucr-program to make merged axis with brake and throttle.
In dosbox.conf I had to make controller detection to "auto". In gp2 I had to make steering to controller A and pedals to B.
What a struggle with my limited skills to tweak these programs. Now it's only to make this game run little better as I am now using dosbox-staging. Can't hit 25,6fps steadily.
In dosbox-ece it performed fine, but changed to staging because ece is not developed anymore. I'll figure this out somehow I believe.
In short..it's working now and that is victory to me.

Update! performance is now spot on for a oldie like this. Just set everything max in conf file and in lossless scaling app I made 2x framegen. Now it runs 51fps like in Ted Meats video.
What a game now..well, case closed and hopefully someone might find this useful. Gp3 and 4 are still my favorites but this made me smile to be able to run these with my gear.

Do you also have a moza wheel? If so can you make it automatically center in dosbox?

Also did the moza work with gp3/gp3-2000/gp4?

Are you aware about GP2 X86?
