F1 1980 MegaPatch - Now available!

Hi all

Just want to share with you that I am making great progress with my F1 1980 MegaPatch. My intention is to have it done before the end of the year so I can move on to a more recent year. Maybe '15, '07 or '93. Not sure yet.

So, not long to wait.

What are you fixing in the MOD 80? Is it a patch to the Ripping corpse mod?

I fixed some external mirrors and physics on GP4
I have a new sound to engine ( Ford and Renault ).
Not sure if you can use it.

Please let me know what are you doing.

I am basing my new Megapatch from content I have already made for F1 1979 and 1981, but with lots of new menus and track add.
The carset skins I am using are from Zerkaloi as these are the highest quality I can find. Annoyingly I will have to set the race number positions in GP3 Edit as I don't have those. Anything you can supply would be welcome!
I can send a link to a preview if you'd like. PM

Like I said I have a sound for Ford and Renault Turbo Engines ( for Gp4 ) I think you can use it also on GP3 ( dont know how it works )

Hi everyone

I am delighted to present my latest and 28th MegaPatch - F1 1980
F1 1980 DOWNLOAD

With this set I have now completed the 1980s. I never thought I would get that far. But its a joy to make these. Some great drivers and teams that year with Alan Jones winning his only title after Piquet put it in the wall at Montreal (with some help from Jones!).

I must thank Evandro for helping me fix all the car number positions, which is an annoying and time consuming job. I would not have finished as early without his help. Also from Evandro is a 70s style TV lap counter which pops up in the corner from time to time.

And thanks goes to all the creators of original content that I have used. I have brought together in one place many people's work and added some of my own too.

There are some alternative carsets to show the small number of driver changes in the year.

I am not stopping! I have the Christmas break now to get started on a new one. Next on my list are F1 2015, F1 1974, F1 1993 maybe CART 1994.

Hope you enjoy F1 1980!

Great megapatch

Another update to F1 1980. Probably the last one. Added extra carsets to account for Stephen South replacing Prost at Long Beach and Mass being replaced by Thackwell and Winkelhock at Zandvoort and Imola.
