I didn't find any problems here.

The test was done with Win7 64 bits
GP3 1.13 + GPxPatch 4.23 (enable debug mode and log file verbosity low)

There is another item that has the following configuration: Compatibility Use CPU = All (I don't know if this can cause a desktop crash problem)
I also use Max. Track length: 10km or 20Km in the GPxTrack tab for cases where some DAT files are larger than 137KB

What version of your GPxPatch?

When the structure of folders and files is very large and complex as I usually do a clean installation only with GP3 and GPxPatch
After everything is working I install it in the final structure and remove the test one.

Perhaps some file may be corrupted and causing it or in the wrong location.
It would be good to redo the installation of these files again.

I decided to take a look at your log and saw some information about your settings.

I noticed that you play GP3 2000 on Windows XP with GPxPatch 4.52

I also have on my Win7 64 bits a ready structure of GP3 2000 with GPxPatch 4.52 and I copied the files and folder there.

Right after the first corner and before the second the game crashes to desktop. To be very exact right after the white line.

For me this same problem also happens with Korea2012.dat !!!

I removed the JIP file but it didn't work .... I don't know at the moment what it could be ....

If I'm not wrong, the Dirk usually makes his tracks only for GP3 1.13 but it would be good to get in touch with him.

One more information

In the file "gp3form.txt" Dirk gives the following information:

Base: Korea 2010 (Yeongam) by Scandura (thanks)

So I decided to install Korea 2010 from Scandura on GP3 2000 and the error didn't happen.

I will make a comparison between the DAT files and see what it can be. I still have no idea what it is but I want to know.

As for the speed reduction problem at the end of the main straight this also occurs in this version.

Wow, you really got warmed up for this issue a true detective!

For me it's only Korea 2011, 2012 is fine. And yes, it's that exact spot: between first and second corner. At first I also thought it might have something to do with the jip line... Who knows.

Rene SDI Smit might be able to tell the cause directly from the log. I've never seen this exception address before, 0x7394fb77

hi guys, its weird that it only happens to the 2011 track, because as far as i remember the 2012 track is identical.
I will have a look but cannot give any warranty to find the reason

The problem only occurs with the GP3 2000 !!!

Right after the first corner and before the second the game crashes to desktop. To be very exact right after the white line between sectors 28 and 30.

For me this same problem also happens with Korea 2011.dat and Korea2012.dat !!!

I did a test without the JAM and JIP files and even then the problem continues.

Just remembering that the Korea 2010 version made by Roberto Scandura does not have this problem in GP3 2000 and this DAT was the basis for your version.

I sent an email to René Smit and I'm waiting for a reply.

I will keep trying but I confess I have no idea what it is ....
