worx great under Linux/Wine ..

At least it's working perfectly on GP3 2k

that's interesting. speak me about linux/wine with gp3 ....
Can yu see hardware mode circuits/carsets/gpx panels ?

..everything functions normal, just "out of the box". But don´t forget wine is an emulator and it will never reach same performance as a native system.
I installed Linux "Mint" 19.x (same as Ubuntu) and followed this site:

in linux-terminal enter:
- "winecfg" (to setup wine)
- "wine control" (to install windows-exe-files or gamecontroller)

Ok, dear. but comparing with DgVoodoo or virtualbox ald windows machines - however not able to execute hardware rendering for GP3 and gpxpatch - ,
if I can run it using proficently the modern GPU on a PC, installing Linux aside windows, it 's a great thing!
Let me know in Wine in 1024x768 in hardware rendering how much is Occupancy CPU At the start moments, in 10/11th position, all graphics actived.
Then tell me also which CPU and GPU do u have ?

I´ll test tomorrow, didn´t find the time up till now..

Linux/Wine-tests for GP3:

Wine serves to less performance for an optimal GP3 running
- GP3/2k installed with it´s original setup and tracks are playable - PO: 100-120%
- Belini-tracks and other fully detailed tracks are a problem - PO:300%
- Rainconditions (Monsoon) - PO:600%
(all at start, later it gets better of course)

->everything depends on your HW-specs (as usual)

Tested on:

Windows Surfacebook2 (Notebook!)
- NVIDIA GTX 1060
- 16GB RAM
- i7 8650U CPU, 2,11GHz

My Opinion: better use dgVoodo-wrapper. But for sure a Destop-PC would have more power..so maybe test by yourself.
