GP3 Crash

I just re-installed GP3 and can not play the game... it keeps crashing at withe GP3.exe crash error.

I have Win10 and have set compatibility to XP.

Anyone else experience this or suggestions to fix.

Yes - all off. Still crashes at start up.

I get GP3.exe has stopped working error.

did you installed the gp3 patch, gp3 nocd exe and gpx patch aswell?

Yes, but actually in the middle of uninstalling and reinstalling.

Should I install all of the above.

yes, first the official patch 1.13, then the nocd and at least gpxpatch 4.43

Thanks. Yes have all installed including gpxpatch 4.43...still Crash to Desktop. Must be my graphics card. Game worked perfect on my old computer. Does not make sense.

which graphic card do you have?

AMD Radeon R7 240

ok, did you've set your CPU usage in gpxpatch to all, debug mode on and verbosity level to high?

Yes - done and still crashes. Very frustrating. Have newer games that work.

Could it be my gp3.exe file. I have the No-CD .exe.

if you have the nocd exe 1.13 then it's all fine, because you need the exe to get gp3 working, but you can change the cpu useage from all to 0 and test again and maybe you have to set the compatibility mode for the nocd exe to xp and run as administrator aswell

All done - still crash.

Just an idea : do you have the original gp3.exe ?

The good procedure is to first install the original game and then apply the patches as said by quickslick.

Installs properly, but when trying to play with CD in drive it does not open. I applied the game patch, but not the No-CD patch.

If you patch the game you don't need the CD anymore, hence why you need the no-cd patch after patching the game. Try it and all should be fine.

Do you have a log from gpxpatch? (gpxpload.txt).
